Senior Housing Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Housing Law Solicitor / Supervisor to join our team at a reputable, large-scale law firm. With over 25 practice areas, our client serves corporate entities and private individuals across London and England.

This esteemed firm holds top-tier rankings in The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, emphasizing their exceptional expertise and commitment to excellence.

The Housing Department has received recognition for its services across England and Wales, providing comprehensive assistance to landlords and tenants on various housing matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Department Director
  • Manage all aspects of Housing work, offering technical guidance and support to team members when needed
  • Effectively manage caseload types and complexities
  • Assist with casework, including dealing with public and private housing cases, such as Homelessness, Disrepair, Eviction, Possession, Property Ownership Disputes, Succession for Tenants, and Neighbourhood Problems
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases
  • Maintain accurate time costing procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Practising Certificate
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Proven supervisory experience and ability to work to key performance indicators
  • Professional approach, excellent client care skills, and ability to handle vulnerable client matters sensitively
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills
