Care and Support Assistant

As a Care and Support Assistant at Barchester care homes, you will be an integral part of our dedicated team providing high-quality care to residents. Your role will involve a diverse range of tasks that are designed to promote independence, dignity, and well-being.
About the JobThe primary focus of this position is to support residents with their daily needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and household responsibilities. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills through comprehensive training programs.
Main Responsibilities- Providing individualized care and support to residents
- Assisting with personal care activities, such as bathing and dressing
- Preparing meals and snacks for residents
- Maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Participating in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
You will work closely with our experienced care teams to ensure that residents receive the best possible care and support. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Person SpecificationNo specific qualifications are required for this role, as comprehensive training is provided. However, you should possess a caring and compassionate nature, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
