Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the entire electrical package, from design and procurement to installation and commissioning, ensuring all work aligns with project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints of a major Data Centre project.
  2. Collaborate closely with engineering teams, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth integration of the electrical package with other project elements.
  3. Provide technical guidance on electrical systems and installations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
  4. Perform regular site safety inspections to verify that all electrical work is performed in accordance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety.
  5. Identify and assess risks associated with the electrical packages, developing and implementing effective solutions to mitigate impacts on project timelines, quality, and costs.
  6. Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for the electrical package.
  7. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to verify compliance with specifications and project requirements.
  8. Serve as the primary point of contact for all electrical-related matters, maintaining effective communication and providing regular progress updates.
  9. Maintain detailed records of all electrical package activities and provide regular reports to senior management on progress, budget, and relevant issues.
Requirements:
  • Degree/qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience managing electrical packages for large-scale projects, preferably in Data Centre or similar heavy M&E projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and design, with familiarity in electrical codes and standards.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex project packages, leading multidisciplinary teams.
