As a Band 6 Equivalent Speech and Language Therapist at Words First, you will work collaboratively with a skilled team of professionals, including occupational therapists, educational psychologists, and play therapists, to provide holistic care to children in our schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver assessments, interventions, and teacher training.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring effective support for students with speech and language needs.
  • Provide supervision and consultation services to therapists, promoting best practices and evidence-based approaches.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and resources, applying this knowledge to inform your practice.
  • Contribute to the development of training programs for therapists, ensuring they meet the needs of their caseloads and schools.
  • Participate in the growth and development of the company, taking an active role in training and professional development.

Requirements
