Event Program Manager - Global Industry Event Operations

We are working with a multinational tech company to recruit a Program Manager - Global Industry Event Operations. The overview will be to support end-to-end strategic project management for our Tier 1 industry and global business unit events.

Events and marketing experience within the IT industry is essential for this position, so please bear this in mind when applying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all event logistics in planning and executing events, primarily third-party, including sponsorship and contract negotiation, budget management and POs, booth design and production, ad hoc event activities, content and messaging liaison, branding/creative liaison, AV requirements and setup, F&B requirements and setup, giveaways, booth setup and teardown, vendor staffing
  • Collaborate across a global team, including partnering with colleagues and vendors across regions to support and execute high-profile programs
  • Build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with members of the extended Marketing team and other stakeholders to execute event-related marketing activities across disciplines
  • Demonstrate proficiency in cross-functional project management and delivery of outstanding customer event experiences end-to-end
  • Process required documentation (contracts, POs, invoices, etc.) and system entries/updates (calendars, project management tools, etc.) for all activities on time

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of event management experience in physical event environments
  • Project leadership experience with proven track record of success, including experience working in a virtual team environment across different time zones
