Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care to residents with varying needs? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Assistant at St Monica Trust. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing holistic person-centred services to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding care to residents by identifying their hospitality, housekeeping, and catering needs, working collaboratively with other teams to achieve this goal.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene in accordance with health and safety regulations, infection control standards, and company policies.
  • Ensure room checks, communal room comfort, cleanliness, hygiene, and laundry sorting are completed to the highest standard.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the care home teams to meet residents' unique needs.
  • Prepare lounge areas for use as coffee and bar venues for residents and their visitors.
Schedule

This part-time role requires 24 hours per week on a 2-week rota, consisting of 4 x 6-hour shifts per week (30-minute unpaid meal break).

Shift Schedule:

Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday (1pm-7:30pm), Friday (7:30am-2pm)

Week 2: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday (1pm-7:30pm), Friday (7:30am-2pm)

Requirements
  • Strong communication skills, including numeracy, literacy, and verbal abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people of varying communication needs.
  • Excellent customer service skills and adaptability in mixed communication methods.
Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary: £25,376.00 per annum based on a 24-hour part-time schedule.
