Job Description

As a Dental Nurse/TCO, you will be an integral part of our enthusiastic team of dentists, hygienists, and dental nurses. Your primary role will be to assist the dentist during various treatment procedures, including implant surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
  • Prepare the surgery for patients and treatments
  • Dispose of sharps and clinical waste safely
  • Maintain the radiograph processing unit
  • Provide clinical assistance under the supervision of the Dentist/Specialist
  • Follow practice policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the dental team
  • Take care for own and others' health and safety
  • Comply with HTM-01-05, GDC, and CQC requirements
Requirements:
  • Exceptional listening skills and a calm, empathetic approach to patients, team members, and clinicians
  • Motivated, friendly, flexible, punctual, and organized
  • Qualification in Dental Nursing – NEBDN or NVQ 3
  • Dental Nurse Registration with the General Dental Council
