About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our New Business Sales team at Brightcove. This individual should possess a strong passion for technology, be hungry to learn, and have an ambitious attitude towards building a successful sales career.

As a sales professional in this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of opportunities, working closely with multiple stakeholders to deliver sales revenue, and meeting or exceeding quarterly sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement a sales pipeline to manage customer lead intake, outbound activity, prioritization, and metrics for measuring deal status.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals each quarter by leveraging a virtual territory team to execute against sales objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of relationships at C-level, VP, and Director levels across various industry categories.
  • Craft compelling value propositions around the use of the Brightcove platform to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare deal overviews and contract summaries for key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a sales/business development role, preferably within a leading software or enterprise platform sales company.
  • Demonstrated ability to instigate, carry through, and close deals, with a focus on running outbound activity to build qualified sales opportunities.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to assess client needs effectively and address them through new products and services.
  • Able to think creatively and work independently in a hybrid work arrangement, with occasional domestic travel required.
