Handyman Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable individual to join our construction team as a Handyman Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on various projects, from residential to commercial, and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

Job Description

In this role, you will assist with various tasks related to drywall installation, patching, painting, and other handyman duties. You will work closely with our experienced team members to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard. The successful candidate will have previous experience in labor or construction roles, or a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with drywall installation, patching, and finishing.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Have own basic hand tools.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area throughout the duration of the project.

Requirements

• Previous experience in labor or construction roles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices is a plus.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as independently when required.
• Reliable transportation to job sites is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $28-$38 per hour, based on location and industry standards. We offer a competitive benefits package, including vision care.
