Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a good primary school in the Blackburn area. The successful candidate will provide general support in KS1 and KS2, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general support to teachers in KS1 and KS2
  • Assist with Phonics and other curriculum areas
  • Support students with challenging behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
  • Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Passion for ensuring every child succeeds and reaches their full potential
  • Awareness of own strengths and areas for development
Essentials:
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
