Job Title: Apprentice Design Engineer

At Silicon Logic, we are seeking a highly skilled Apprentice Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering production intent design and drawings, utilizing your expertise in CAD tools such as CATIA V5/V6, 3D Experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interior and exterior components for our vehicles, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with our body engineers, plant launch, and manufacturing engineers to resolve issues and improve our build delivery process.
  • Coordinate change management activities for body interior exterior parts and software to support our launch objectives.
  • Work on post-build reworks & quality validation activities to achieve customer delivery dates & quality standards.
  • Attend launch review meetings and prepare management information for the presentation of status reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in launch engineer activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
