Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Energy Policy Specialist to join our team at OFGEM. As a key member of our policy development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the energy landscape of the UK.

As an Energy Policy Specialist, you will:

  • Lead policy development projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely and effective outcomes;
  • Analyze complex policy issues, identifying areas of improvement and developing evidence-based recommendations;
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build consensus and drive policy change;
  • Communicate policy recommendations and solutions to stakeholders, including senior decision-makers and industry leaders;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, policy developments, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to inform policy decisions.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in policy development, analysis, and communication. You should have a strong understanding of the energy sector, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder engagement.
