Climax Studios, a renowned game development studio, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Level Designer to join our team. As a key member of our level design team, you will be responsible for creating and owning major immersive environments for our AAA IP game. With a strong background in level design and leadership, you will inspire, motivate, and guide your team to deliver exceptional results.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading level design teams and creating engaging, memorable game experiences. You will work closely with our design team to ensure that our game meets the highest standards of quality and aligns with our project vision. Your expertise in level flow, metrics, pacing, and visual design will be invaluable in shaping the game's overall experience.

Responsibilities will include leading a level design team, building and maintaining documentation for owned environments, designing and building large, immersive levels, and ensuring that the team adheres to project vision, best practices, and quality benchmarks. You will also be responsible for providing constructive critique and solutions during level reviews and regularly playing the game to provide suggestions and feedback.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
