Mactech Energy Group is a leading player in the nuclear energy sector, and we are currently seeking an experienced Quality Management Lead to join our team. This role will be based in London, with hybrid working arrangements available.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits. As a Quality Management Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that our supply chain adheres to contracted quality assurance and quality control requirements. You will also support the Quality Director and Quality Delivery Managers in achieving adherence to Integrated Management System arrangements.

You will act as an Intelligent Customer to ensure effective implementation of arrangements by the supply chain. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control arrangements across the SZC organization. You will lead the review, acceptance, and monitoring of Contractors Quality Assurance Plans (CQAP), produce Project Quality Control Plans (PQCP), and ensure compliance with key quality contractual arrangements.

Your duties will involve coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including contracted inspection entities. You will perform audits, surveillance, and joint inspections to maintain quality standards. You will also lead the resolution of non-conformances and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

We require an individual with experience in project delivery, preferably in the nuclear power sector, with a focus on project quality. You should have a solid understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control in engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning. Knowledge of Quality Systems, ISO standards, and ideally nuclear sector regulations is essential.

A strong communication skillset and ability to build effective relationships are required. Proven leadership experience and the ability to influence and provide constructive challenge are necessary. Experience in supplier management and performing supplier audits is also desirable.

The location for this role is London, with hybrid working arrangements available. The salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits. We offer a company pension scheme, paid holidays, health cover, cycle to work scheme, discounts, and employee pricing.
