Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacotherapy Manager to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the pharmacy service in the admissions unit, ensuring seamless transitions of care and enhancing treatment outcomes for patients admitted to Morriston Hospital.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in clinical governance, service improvement, and project management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also possess a deep understanding of the importance of patient-centered care and be committed to providing exceptional service to our patients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the pharmacy service in the admissions unit, ensuring seamless transitions of care and enhancing treatment outcomes
  • Lead initiatives to improve the efficiency of the admissions process and contribute to clinical guidelines and policies
  • Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues, clinicians, nursing staff, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction
