Job Title: Share Scheme Tax Manager

Pro-Tax is seeking a highly skilled Share Scheme Tax Manager to join our Incentives and Reward team in Leeds City Centre. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in helping listed and private companies with all aspects of designing, implementing, and operating share and cash incentive arrangements in the UK and overseas.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and varied role that requires a strong understanding of tax, legal, and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for advising on commercial and practical issues related to the structure and design of employee equity and cash incentive plans, as well as supporting companies with the implementation of equity and cash incentive plans in the UK and globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on the tax and legal implications of incentive plans for both employers and employees.
  • Developing strategies for the tax compliant and tax efficient delivery of incentives.
  • Drafting share plan and related employee communication documents.
  • Assisting with preparing technical updates for clients and contacts.
  • Working closely with the team to ensure deadlines are met and high-quality work is produced.
Requirements:
  • ACCA/ACA/ATII/ATT/CTA, Solicitor or Barrister qualification.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation in this field.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to produce high-quality, client-facing work.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
