About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with a special interest in Haematology to join our Oncology Pharmacy team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy multidisciplinary environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services to patients within Haematology, including provision of highly specialist review and advice relating to the safe use of medicines.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical pharmacy services in Haematology.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of national and local agendas for the project.

Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications include a BSc (Pharmacy) or MPharm, Higher degree / Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice, or equivalent experience, Clinical Diploma or equivalent qualification or demonstrable equivalent clinical experience, and Demonstrates continued professional development.
  • Desirable qualifications include Leadership and/or management qualifications, MSc in clinical pharmacy or higher research degree (MPhil or PhD), Postgraduate qualification in Haematology or similar, Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS), and Member of British Oncology Pharmacy Association.
