Job Summary:

As an experienced HR Officer/Advisor, we are seeking a proactive and energetic professional to join our team at Stamford Bridge Hotel. The ideal candidate will provide practical support and advice on HR procedures, policies, and employment legislation to the hotel team, engaging with a wide array of business stakeholders to support the hotel through an exciting rebrand.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the business on recruitment, selection, and induction, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring personnel are paid accurately and on time, with a focus on maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver classroom-based training and engagement activities to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Provide briefings, training, and coaching to managers on the effective implementation of policies and procedures, as well as managing employee relations issues.
  • Support the implementation of rewards and benefits, including annual bonuses, pensions, and flex benefits, to drive employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure HR databases and systems are accurately maintained and updated, providing a robust foundation for informed decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with external clients and service providers, fostering a collaborative environment that drives business success.
  • Ensure the HR department functions in accordance with Company standards, budgets, and audit requirements at all times, maintaining a culture of excellence and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt communication to a range of audiences, with a focus on clarity and impact.
  • Ability to influence and persuade at senior management level, through effective stakeholder engagement and strategic communication.
  • Capacity to identify and react promptly to impacts within the industry, ensuring the hotel remains competitive and forward-thinking.
  • Organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to oversee and manage end-to-end payroll, with experience with Harri being an advantage.
  • Prior experience with HR Information Systems, preferably with global systems such as Workday, to provide a robust foundation for data-driven decision-making.
