At Science Solutions Recruitment we are currently seeking to recruit a skilled QC Analyst to join our manufacturing team. As a QC Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all specifications and standards, performing testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process testing and final products, and evaluating and validating data and calibration of equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician or analyst looking to take their career to the next level. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential, with a degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science or a similar subject also required.

The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, and experience of working in a time-critical manufacturing environment would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process and final product.
  • Evaluate analytical data to identify deviations in product quality.
  • Ensure accurate validation of analytical data.
  • Characterise and investigate any non-conformances.
  • Operation, calibration and maintenance of equipment.

Salary: GBP16.31 per hour, increasing to GBP24.05 when moving to night shifts. We offer a shift pattern of 3 shifts on, 3 days off followed by 16 days break, with opportunities for career progression.
