Job Description

Your new role at Engineering
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team based near Thetford. The successful candidate will work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights) to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the plant and machinery.
About the position
As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for minimising operational downtime by delivering planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of highly automated machinery. This includes conveyors, extruders, palletisers, vacuum packers, form sealers, and wrapping machines. You will also carry out fault-finding on PLC systems, complete electrical installations, and undertake project work.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need experience in maintenance engineering, relevant electrical and mechanical qualifications (C&G, NVQ or similar), experience of PLC systems, and experience of CMMS systems. Your strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently will be essential in this position.
