**Role Overview**

SF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join an exciting business based in Birmingham. As a key member of the centralised finance team, you will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts, for internal and external stakeholders.
* Conduct financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
* Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
* Manage intercompany queries, recharges, and reconciliations.
* Prepare consolidated results for the automotive division on a quarterly basis.
* Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
* Provide ad-hoc support on reporting and projects, including operational and system-related tasks.

**Requirements**

* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong financial accounting experience.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Advanced level of MS Excel skills.
