Maintenance Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Engineering & Maintenance team in Northwich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the maintenance strategy to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage the overall maintenance strategy, aligning it with operational goals and best industry practices.
  2. Lead and mentor a skilled multi-discipline maintenance team, ensuring the effective planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities to achieve high levels of commercial availability.
  3. Ensure the preventive maintenance program is continuously improved and effectively implemented to meet performance targets.
  4. Plan and execute major plant outages, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Maintain key performance metrics, aiming to exceed 90% for corrective and preventive maintenance.
  6. Identify, propose, and manage CAPEX projects to improve plant performance and drive innovation in maintenance processes.
  7. Implement change management strategies and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 10 years' experience in the oil and gas, chemicals, power, or process industries.
  2. Strong background in maintenance management within a major accident hazard environment.
  3. Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline (essential).
  4. Strong expertise in maintenance strategy development and execution, as well as a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements within a COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) setting.
  5. Change Management experience.
  6. Candidates must be willing to participate in a 1-week-in-4 Duty Manager rota and must live within a 1 hour commute of Northwich.
