Electrical Engineer Role at Skilled Careers

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Skilled Careers. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in a range of projects from small site surveys through to multi-million-pound schemes, with a varied workload that requires autonomy and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support as part of a team in delivering projects effectively, while maintaining technical performance standards.
  • Support the development of individuals' skills and contribute to a strong team spirit.
  • Work on a variety of projects with blue-chip clients, promoting the development of individuals' skills and offering career progression opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the project Associate or Director and other team members to deliver projects effectively.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or in the process of obtaining a degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Suitable design experience in the building services sector, preferably across a variety of sectors.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in the production of reports and specifications.
  • Awareness of working in a 3D environment and knowledge of cable sizing and lighting design software.
