Digital Innovation Specialist | East Midlands | Competitive Salary

We are seeking a talented Digital Innovation Specialist to join our team in the East Midlands. As a key member of our digital centre of excellence, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team and gain exposure to a wide range of digital projects.

Our client is a leading retailer that prides itself on its commitment to innovation and customer experience. As a Digital Innovation Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and delivering data-driven visual merchandising strategies that drive customer engagement and sales.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing data-driven visual merchandising strategies to enhance the customer experience.
  2. Managing onsite search to ensure optimal configuration and search experience.
  3. Innovating and enhancing personalisation on site and app via search and merch tools.
  4. Developing forward-thinking features that drive performance.
  5. Contributing new ideas to the digital roadmap and owning them from concept to delivery.
  6. Analysing and interpreting A/B test results to inform future optimisation strategies.
  7. Ensuring consistent and scalable optimisation practices through the creation of playbooks of best practices.
  8. Identifying customer pain points in the journey through data insights and presenting recommendations for improvement.
  9. Assisting in the build and development of weekly reporting on key insights and actions.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  1. Proven experience in digital optimisation, digital trade, analytics, or related roles.
  2. A commercial and analytical mindset.
  3. A passion for customer behaviour, optimising online experiences, and an interest in wider digital practices.
  4. A strong data-driven mindset with a sound commercial understanding.
  5. Experience with Search & Merch tools such as Algolia or Attraqt.
  6. An understanding of personalised algorithms and their impact on the customer journey.
  7. Knowledge of GA and other analytical tools such as ContentSquare.
  8. Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies.
