About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Care Support Worker to join our team in Wadebridge, Cornwall. As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting learning disabled adults to live their best lives, promoting their independence, and empowering them to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to learning disabled adults, enabling them to maintain their independence and participate in daily activities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and dignity of service users.

  • A competitive salary of £11.44 rising to £11.74 per hour from 1st October 2024.

Requirements
  • Experience working with learning disabled adults or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driving license and access to a car (desirable).
