Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist to join our team at Leaders in Care. As a qualified professional, you will administer chemotherapy treatments to patients in the comfort of their own homes, providing exceptional standards of education and clinical care.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a nationally recognized specialist provider as part of their growth plans. You will be working with one of the biggest partners to the NHS, making a significant difference to patients' lives every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a caseload of patients, providing excellent standards of education and clinical care
  • Administer a range of haematological and solid tumour treatments, as defined in the patient's care plan
  • Sustain professional standards while working with patients

Requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse with active NMC PIN
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience of community-based work is desirable but not essential
  • Qualified in administering Cytotoxic drugs
  • Cannulate and have experience undertaking clinical assessments
