Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Operations Planning team and manage a team of Duty Directors in our Operations Control Centre (OCC). As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering our flying programme, ensuring minimal disruption to our customers and recovering operational performance safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Duty Director team and performance manage them to ensure consistent standards are met and exceeded across the OCC.
  • Work with other OCC team managers to influence the management of the performance of Network Operations.
  • Develop and implement deliverable solutions in an operational environment, balancing competing business needs without compromising safety.
  • Collaborate with Airport, Commercial, and Engineering teams to plan future flying schedules up to 2 years in advance, optimising the short term planning window through FlyRed.
  • Ensure a deliverable schedule is handed over to the OCC, meeting key business objectives.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in an OCC or Operational environment with proven ability to manage dynamic and complex operational scenarios.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement through data and predictive modelling.
  • Knowledge of current EASA legislative requirements in respect of Airworthiness data storage, tracking and reporting.
  • Experienced people leader with a large, multi-disciplined and shift based team.
  • Schedule planning experience, including knowledge of fleet capability and airport constraints.
