Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Class 1 driver to join our team at Equator Personnel Ltd. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials.

Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a range of vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
* Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
* Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed
* Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

Requirements:

* Warehouse experience: Familiarity with warehouse operations and the ability to navigate through inventory efficiently
* Flatbed experience: Proficiency in safely loading, securing, and unloading cargo on a flatbed truck
* Mechanical knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform minor repairs or troubleshooting
* Commercial driving experience: Previous experience driving commercial vehicles, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
* Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and dispatchers
* Delivery driver experience: Experience in making deliveries and ensuring customer satisfaction
* Van driver experience: Proficiency in operating vans for transportation purposes
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
