Compliance Administrator Job Description

Air Personnel Ltd is seeking a Compliance Administrator to support the Head of Compliance and nominated Compliance Managers in ensuring the standards of the Compliance System are maintained.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Compliance department, including updating staff approvals, training files, and company procedures. They will also be responsible for administering the document management process and serving as a point of contact and support for the training department on continuation training needs.

The Compliance Administrator will assist with conducting audits, helping with Occurrence and Safety investigations, and promoting the use of the IQSMS system for internal occurrence reporting and non-conformity management. Travel to other sites and visits to sub-contractors may be required, as well as limited travel abroad for auditing overseas facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day administration of the Compliance Department.
  • Assist Compliance Managers in implementing the audit program for all activities to ensure compliance with regulatory approvals and standards.
  • Carry out administrative functions, such as staff approval reviews, training file updates, and completion of reports.
  • Assist in promoting the organization's Safety & Risk Management/Occurrence System to ensure its effectiveness.
  • Monitor sub-contracted activities through audit or desktop review to ensure subcontractors are capable and compliant.
  • Be conversant with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience in an auditing role, preferably aerospace, but not essential (training will be provided).
  • Possess a general understanding of maintenance requirements to ensure compliance.
  • A full driving license and current valid passport are required.

Advantageous:

  • Be conversant with EASA regulations, such as Part 145.
  • Have a working understanding of other regulatory standards, such as Part 21, MRP, and ISO 9001.
  • Previous experience working within a Compliance environment.
