About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and focused Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The Pharmacist Network. As an onsite Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical care and advice to patients, focusing on best practice and adhering to safety guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act within professional boundaries, supporting and working alongside the general practice team, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians.
  • Help resolve medication-related issues, improve patient outcomes, and support the improvement of access to healthcare.
  • Provide expert advice on medications to other clinicians and patients, and deliver clinical leadership on medicines optimisation and quality improvement.
  • Ensure appropriate and efficient use of medication, and educate patients on medication and disease prevention.

Requirements

  • A relevant degree/qualification to show you are registered Clinical Pharmacist with GPHC registration.
  • Independent prescribing qualification.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience of working within general practice/primary care.
