Job Title: Mortgage Underwriter

Company Overview: Stellar Select Limited is a leading mortgage lending institution seeking an experienced Mortgage Underwriter to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mortgage Underwriter to assess mortgage applications, ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in mortgage packaging or underwriting, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mortgage Application Review: Review and assess mortgage applications to ensure all aspects of our underwriting criteria are met.
  • Underwriting Guidelines: Ensure all underwriting is in line with Company policy and within regulation.
  • Loan Processing: Enter and update borrower data on the lending platform, ensuring accurate recording of loan details.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in residential or second-charge mortgage packaging or underwriting.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and results-driven.
