Job Title: Film and Media Lecturer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Film and Media Lecturer to join our team at SAE Creative Media Institute in Liverpool. As a lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our Film Production and Content Creation and Online Marketing degree programs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in film and media production, with a passion for education and a commitment to student success. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic sessions, inspiring and motivating our students, and ensuring an exceptional student experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students in film and media production, including scriptwriting, directing, and editing
  • Develop and deliver curriculum content, including lesson plans and assessments
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students on their work
  • Contribute to the development of our film and media programs, including curriculum design and program evaluation
  • Collaborate with other lecturers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in film and media production, with a degree in a relevant field
  • Teaching experience, preferably in a higher education setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to student success and a passion for education
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
