About the Role:

We're seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our team as an Apprentice Service Engineer. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in mechanical and electrical engineering, working with a wide range of hire equipment.

What You'll Do:

  • Learn how to complete routine service and maintenance of all hire equipment and products under the guidance of our experienced workshop mentor.
  • Liaise with your mentor to ensure cost-effective repairs are completed and equipment is kept in good working order.
  • Effectively use our on-site Kanbans to keep machines available for hire.
  • Advise on equipment recommendations and provide excellent customer service.

What You'll Bring:

  • A strong ambition to learn and develop your skills in mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A three-year commitment to attend college to gain a qualification in plant maintenance.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and strong numerical skills.
  • Any experience in manual handling is beneficial but not essential.
