Primary SEN Teacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join our team at a primary SEN school in Truro. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching children with complex ASC needs and be able to engage a small mixed Year 1 and 2 class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a small class of 7 children with complex ASC needs
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to meet the needs of each child
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants to provide a supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these

Requirements:

  • QTS qualification
  • SEN teaching experience, particularly with complex ASC needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other staff members
  • Organized approach to lesson planning and delivery

  • Competitive daily rate pro-rata from M1-UPS3 pay scale (£28,000 - £43,685)
