About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at nLeague. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by assisting in the procurement of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement process, including contract management, contract negotiation, and preparation of purchase orders.
- Manage relationships and transactions with vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of all vendors, key suppliers, and negotiated purchasing agreements.
- Ensure compliance with state procurement regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address procurement-related issues.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in a procurement or finance role.
- Strong understanding of account payable and account receivable processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage own time and work.
Desired Qualifications:
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
- Solid understanding of purchasing and invoicing systems.
- Ability to review contracts and MOUs.
