Job Title: Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at nLeague. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by assisting in the procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement process, including contract management, contract negotiation, and preparation of purchase orders.
  • Manage relationships and transactions with vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all vendors, key suppliers, and negotiated purchasing agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with state procurement regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address procurement-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in a procurement or finance role.
  • Strong understanding of account payable and account receivable processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own time and work.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.
  • Solid understanding of purchasing and invoicing systems.
  • Ability to review contracts and MOUs.
