Austin Fraser is a leading renewables company seeking an experienced Heating Engineer to join our Installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing air source heat pump systems for residential and commercial customers.

Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Heating Engineer with ASHP experience to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growth plan. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a close-knit team covering Surrey and the surrounding areas, with travel typically no more than 1 hour from your home location.

Responsibilities
  • Installation of air source heat pump systems, including the heat pump or cascade of heat pumps, unvented cylinder, radiator, pipe work, and associated mechanical systems.
  • Fault finding and diagnostics to identify the root cause of system failures or performance issues.
  • Maintenance of accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed, including details of equipment used and work completed.
  • Providing excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients, addressing their queries and concerns, and offering professional advice on energy-efficient heating solutions.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to ASHP systems and renewable energy technologies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Heating Engineer with ASHP experience.
  • Techincal knowledge of heating systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety guidelines pertaining to heating systems and Air Source Heat Pumps.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel to different sites locally.

We offer a competitive salary of £39,000 - £51,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as a van, fuel card, tools, PDA, uniform, PPE, rewards scheme, and training.
