Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Engineer to join our team in Manchester.
The successful candidate will have a mechanical bias and experience working in an industrial environment, maintaining plant machinery.
The role involves taking lead of all mechanical tasks, offering support for electrical issues, and ensuring all plant machinery meet regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Reactive breakdown resolution, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance
- Lead of all mechanical tasks and support for electrical issues
- Involvement in planned yearly shutdowns
- Travelling to other sites in the area when required
- Mentoring and supporting apprentices during their development
Requirements include:
- NVQ level 3 in engineering discipline or equivalent
- Previous experience with mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery
- Welding/Fabrication experience
