About the Role


At Apollo Home Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated School Health Team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work in an educational setting, providing essential support to children with complex healthcare needs.



Responsibilities



  • Provide highly skilled care to children with additional healthcare needs, including enteral feeding, administration of regular and emergency medication, diabetes and epilepsy management, personal care, and moving & handling.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and pastoral staff to ensure students can fully participate in their education while meeting their healthcare needs.
  • Empower students to achieve their full potential and thrive in and out of the classroom.


Requirements



  • A minimum of 3 months' relevant healthcare experience working with children.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional and positive approach.
