Cambridge Consultants is looking for a talented IT Infrastructure Developer to join our team.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including physical and virtualised Linux operating systems and network infrastructure.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining physical and virtualised Linux operating systems
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining Enterprise network infrastructure
  • Collaborating with Systems Administrators to ensure the seamless operation of our systems
  • Developing scripts to automate system configuration and processes where appropriate (Infrastructure as code)
  • Monitoring of Linux logs and proactively highlighting any potential problems
  • Ensuring compliance for Linux operating systems with Cyber Essentials controls
  • Support Linux based software licensing (typically using FlexNET)
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of relevant infrastructure technology
  • Maintaining technical documentation
  • Investigating security incidents as required
