Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our National Response Team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our customers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs, on-site commissioning, service, and calibration of customer's inline inspection equipment.
  • Perform upgrades and refurbishments on customer sites.
  • Handle on-site customer queries in a fair and courteous manner.
  • Adapt to various environments and comply with local clients' health and safety regulations.
  • Complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time in accordance with company procedures.
  • Work overtime as required and participate in the on-call standby rota system.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and provide technical support via phone and email where needed.

Requirements:

  • Good technical electrical/electronics skills.
  • Minimum ONC or similar qualification in electromechanical/electrical engineering.
  • Ideal experience in a field service role and familiarity with customer service aspects, including commissioning, repairs, and servicing.
  • PLC programming and knowledge of PC hardware are advantages.
  • Good PC literacy and organisational skills.
  • Methodical approach to problem-solving and full current UK driving licence.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
