Key Responsibilities:

Ensure vehicle and plant are safe to operate.
Operate vehicle to achieve maximum efficiency.
Compliance with legislation –drivers' hours, highway regulations.
Vehicle security including equipment & plant.
Maintenance of mandatory driver/vehicle records.
Care of duty to self & others.
Ensure vehicle and cab are kept clean.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

Class 2 LGV driving licence.
Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Professional and organised approach.
Good time management / ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication skills.
Displays initiative.
Self-motivated / standalone capabilities.
Flexible.
Committed.
