About the Role

Care & Custody - A Mitie Company is seeking a qualified nurse or paramedic to join our team in a unique career development opportunity. As a Custody Nurse or Paramedic, you will work in custody suites, caring for detainees and providing gold standard care. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care to detainees in custody suites
  • Work alongside police officers to ensure the safety and well-being of detainees
  • Participate in a rolling rota pattern, working 2 shifts on, 8 days, 2 nights, and 4 days off
  • Complete full training in forensic nursing or paramedicine

Person Specification

  • RN, RGN, or RMN with dual registration, or Paramedic, with 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field
  • Driving licence and UK residency for 3 years or more
