Automotive Craftsperson

Pertemps Network Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Polisher to join their team in Dagenham, London.

This role requires expertise in sanding materials and polishing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality improvement and continuous improvement practices.

The successful candidate will earn an estimated £31,000 (DOE) + 15% shift allowance per annum.

As an Automotive Polisher, you will operate machine polishers and perform detailed hand polishing as required. You will adhere to and suggest improvements in established processes, enhancing overall product quality.

• Ensure deadlines are met to support high productivity.
• Comply with our client's Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Collaborate closely with the paint department to troubleshoot and resolve any quality issues.
• Complete all required documentation in line with build instructions.
• Proactively identify potential obstacles, offering solutions and implementing long-term fixes alongside the team.
• Undertake additional tasks as requested by management.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm (subject to business needs).
