Quantity Surveyor Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor at Telent Technology Services Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of our wireless telecoms projects. You will work closely with our project managers to ensure that our clients receive accurate and timely cost reports, and that our commercial teams are well-supported in their negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue monthly client applications for payment in accordance with the contract
  • Administer contracts, including support from commercial teams
  • Report monthly on cost/value reconciliations
  • Support project managers in preparing claims for delay and associated quantum
  • Work with project managers to prepare and present monthly contract reviews to senior management teams
  • Manage payment and commercial relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable Quantity Surveying experience working for a client, contractor, or subcontractor
  • Commercial awareness and ability to work with financial data
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office package
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
