Golf Course Starter/Cart Attendant Job Summary
The Cleveland Metroparks Golf Course Starter/Cart Attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the golf experience for guests by providing exceptional customer service, monitoring greens, coordinating order of play, and enforcing golf course etiquette, rules, and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to golf guests, including assisting with equipment and answering questions or inquiries.
- Coordinate order of play from the first and tenth tee to maintain course assigned tee time intervals.
- Monitor the practice green and/or driving range for proper usage.
- Engage guests in a friendly and positive manner.
- Operate driving range ball picker cart and range ball washer.
- Communicate and enforce all golf course etiquette, rules, and policies.
- Perform general housekeeping duties along driving range stations.
- Respond to hazardous situations and/or potentially unsafe conditions by taking corrective action as capable and promptly notifying supervisory personnel.
- Report hazardous conditions on the golf course or clubhouse to the Golf Clubhouse Manager/supervisor.
Requirements:
- Regular and predictable attendance is expected and required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
Working Environment:
The Golf Course Starter/Cart Attendant works in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with golf guests and staff. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
