Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Pipeline Group team at our Sutton, London office. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the engineering team and providing regular operational reports on general project engineering activities, technical subject matters, and resource management.
Key Responsibilities:- Follow project scope from early engagement with internal and external clients through to offshore execution on board our reel lay assets.
- Produce installation method statements and procedures, support procurement activities, and subcontract follow-up.
- Installation rigging calculations and rigging design.
- Assist Tendering department with feasibility studies, method statements, manhour estimates, schedule inputs, and costing support.
- Supporting installation aid procurement, fabrication, and testing follow-up.
- Follow your scope offshore on our installation vessels.
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Marine, Naval, Offshore Technology, Civil, or Mechanical discipline.
- Relevant experience as a project engineer in the energy industry, ideally within subsea pipeline installation, particularly in the reel lay discipline.
- Clear communication skills, able to speak with all levels within the business, and comfortable working on their own and as part of a team.
- Good report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work, as well as the ability to prioritize and organize work accordingly to meet deadlines set by management.
- Willingness to travel overseas for short periods.
