About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing predominantly TIG welding tasks, adhering to accredited and regulatory codes. A strong understanding of information prescribed within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) is essential.

  • Predominantly TIG welding – working to accredited, regulatory codes
  • Understanding information prescribed within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)
  • Non-welding tasks such as forming, grinding, and operating overhead cranes

As a skilled TIG welder, you will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring high-quality output and meeting productivity targets. Additional experience of MIG welding and working with pressure vessels would be advantageous, as would Dye Penetrant, CSWIP, or PCN2 qualifications.

About You

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment
  • A selection of fabrication techniques
  • Confidence in performing TIG welding tasks

We offer a competitive salary of around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including overtime pay, private healthcare, pension scheme, life assurance, and 25 days annual leave.
