Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Management Associate to join our team in London, UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to contribute to the overall success of our Asset Servicing business.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary coverage of Mandatory & Voluntary Corporate Actions event processing, receiving and validating information relating to Corporate Action announcements, reconciling books and records within multiple internal systems and depositories, and monitoring, calculating and processing daily pay dates.

In addition, the incumbent will liaise with external SBL counterparties & internal Ops teams (Settlements, MO, Collateral) & trading desks on election & pay date processing to mitigate risk on all events, assist management, Front Office and Prime Services Support teams in London and Toronto to ensure operational efficiency, and provide customer service/support to London GPS Front Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide primary coverage of Mandatory & Voluntary Corporate Actions event processing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in asset servicing, operations, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with custodian swift advice and corporate action postings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Dividend / Interest and WHT as they relate to the processing of payments and the movement of securities in the European markets.
  • Good operating knowledge of the Gloss Broadridge system.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Outlook.
