Controls and Services Technician

About the Role:
- As a Controls Technician, you will support Trane UK Ltd customers within the commercial Healthcare, Process Manufacturing Facilities, Education Facilities, and Office Buildings.
- Your primary objective will be commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and servicing on assigned projects.
- Represents the company as the direct customer contact responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer's location.
- Maintains and enhances knowledge on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
- Uses cutting-edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units within systems.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with customers through exceptional customer service.
- Communicates & coordinates with local field service representatives, regions service leaders, and senior technicians, and customers on updates and to drive continuous improvement.
- Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in service or field-based technician role.
- Proficiency in using Apps, diagnostic software, and MS Office Suite.
- Able to work with minimal supervision & a good team player.
- Able to cover standby and call-outs on a planned scheduled basis to include weekday, weekends, and bank holidays with travel and overnight stays to meet the customer needs.
- UK Drivers license as a company vehicle will be allocated.
