SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Specialist Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, promoting their academic and personal development.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that pupils with SEN receive the necessary support.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- CACHE NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education.
- Experience working with children across EYFS – KS2 (YR6).
- A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.
- DBS on the update service (Teaching Personnel can support with this).
- Be a patient and resilient individual.
- Confident approach to managing behaviour.
- SEN experience or working 1:1 and within small groups (desired but not essential).
